Who we are

TRAKT LLC (“Trakt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an AI intelligence and trust-layer platform. Our registered contact for privacy matters is Brian, reachable at brian@trakt.ai.

What the product does

Trakt measures what AI systems say about brands, products, and categories across providers, personas, and contexts. We also let organizations publish signed, verifiable commercial state that agents can check independently.

What we collect

We collect the information needed to provide and improve the service, support customers, and process payments:

• Account data: name, email, organization name, and role when you register or are invited.
• Service data: prompts, model outputs, citations, rankings, entities, artifacts, and attestation data you create or import.
• Usage and log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and API request logs for operations and security.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details.
• Communication data: messages you send to support, including email and form submissions.

What we do not collect

We do not collect unrelated personal information, social media contacts, or precise location data. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Trakt service.
• Run provider-separated LLM observations and derive business metrics.
• Verify and publish commercial attestations and proofs on your behalf.
• Process billing and manage accounts.
• Respond to support requests and improve the product.
• Detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

We do not use your data to train third-party AI models. We access OpenAI, Gemini, and Perplexity through API agreements that do not use customer data for model training.

AI model output

Trakt uses third-party language models to observe and compare AI-generated answers. Output is probabilistic and may contain inaccuracies. We record model output as observations, not as factual truth.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

• Session cookies — keep you signed in while you use the app.
• Stripe cookies — help Stripe detect fraud and process payments securely.
• Preference cookies — remember your UI preferences, such as theme or accent color.

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Some cookies are required for the service to function.

Third-party processors

We use select third parties to operate the service. Each is bound by appropriate data protection obligations:

• OpenAI, Google (Gemini), and Perplexity — for LLM execution.
• Stripe — for payment processing.
• QuickNode — for blockchain infrastructure.
• Google Cloud / Cloud Run — for hosting and data processing.

Data retention

We keep account and service data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Logs are retained for 30 days. Analytics data is retained for 14 months. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, email brian@trakt.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

International transfers

Your data may be stored and processed in the United States. If you are in the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses, for any transfer of personal data outside your region.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe we have, please contact us.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular reviews. No online service is 100% secure.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
